20 years experience of Fostering
With over 20 years' experience of helping children rebuild their lives, our high quality work is in high demand. Over 100+ Local Authorities have children placed with us, and every month more children are referred to us. We are always looking for high quality Foster families that can offer a nurturing home to as many children as possible.
Local offices throughout England
Originally founded by Foster Parents in 2002, By the Bridge is a specialist Fostering organisation with offices in the North West, Eastern, Midlands, and South East regions.
The experienced teams deliver support to these Fostering communities, placing children and young people with specialist Foster Parents who have been trained in Therapeutic Thinking so they are able to support children and young people who have experienced high levels of upset or trauma in their lives.
Our team have extensive Fostering experience
Our teams are made up of brilliant people, Foster Parents and staff. Many of our staff team have Fostered too, so we know exactly what it’s like.
Our teams are all carefully selected and dedicated to their work, always going the ‘extra mile’ to ensure that our families, children and colleagues have what they need to do the best job.
Our Foster Parents represent a vast range of backgrounds and work and life experience.
In addition to Fostering, our staff team includes expertise from the fields of social work, psychotherapy, residential therapeutic childcare, psychology and teaching.
We have a qualified and experienced Social Work teams in each local branch enabling us to deliver a local service to children and Foster Parents.
These teams are complimented by designated Education Advisors, Therapists and skilled Administrative staff who all extend a warm, friendly welcome.
We’ve learned that amazing outcomes and inspiring change is best achieved together.
