Supervising Social Worker
Supervising Social Workers build positive relationships between By the Bridge, the Foster Parents and the child's Local Authority Social Worker ensuring positive outcomes and relationships are created and met for the children and young people. They oversee the quality of care and the home provided by foster families which helps the Foster Parent to care for a child to the best of their ability. A Supervising Social Worker's role includes a combination of monitoring and safeguarding on behalf of the children and being there to support the family whilst helping them to continually develop their fostering skills and knowledge.
Meet By the Bridge Supervising Social Worker, Collis Munroe from our South East branch and find out what she loves about working for By the Bridge and how her and her colleagues help to support Foster Parents on a daily basis.
