By the Bridge South East recently organised an amazing, virtual, animal-handling session ran by local children’s company, ‘Jaws n Claws’ for their children and young people during lockdown.
The session which was hosted over video call was available for all our South East young people looked-after with By the Bridge and even birth children and staff team's youngsters.
EAGAL, Abby Whyte, said: “It was a really successful experience and we had 30 plus people join in. Phil [pictured] who runs ‘Jaws n Claws’ really got the young people engaged in the session. Lots were even asking questions in the chat area and have expressed interest in another session so we’re really pleased.”
Animals included lots of weird and wonderful creatures including lizards, frogs, rabbits, snakes, rats, insects, tortoise and lots more.
‘Jaws n Claws’ are an animal handling company based in East Sussex with over 10 years experience in the field.
