Last month our talented Young People of the South East took to the Kent stage as part of our very own, inaugural talent show, ‘BtB’s Got Talent’.
Hosted by the female equivalent of Ant and Dec – Lisa Moreno, Lead EAGAL and Josey Collins, Social Work Assistant – the audience were treated to a wonderful evening full of singing, dancing and acrobatics from the talented contestants… not to mention the laughs provided by Lisa and Josey in between all of the acts!
The judging panel – made up of Karen Heard (Regional Manager for Kent), Caroline Hallett (Education, Participation and Achievements Manager) and Kayleigh Bampton (Project and Communications Executive) – had a difficult time deliberating the winning performance, especially as each entry was so varied and entertaining.
Lisa Moreno said: “The evening was held to give our young people an opportunity to showcase some of their amazing talents. They certainly did that and more. They blew us all away with a variety of singing, dancing and gymnastics.
“Each and every one of them gave a superb performance, and I’m pretty sure we have some superstars in the making.”
Congratulations to each of the contestants, the hosts and everyone behind the scenes at the Kent branch who worked so hard to make this a night to remember for our amazing children and young people.
It was an incredible evening and hopefully will be the first of many!
