Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated in England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and this year took place between 15 to 19 November 2021. The theme for this year's campaign was One Kind Word and begun with Odd Socks Day which was supported by CBBC and CBeebies star Andy Day and his band Andy and the Odd Socks.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons, that ‘One Kind Word’ was chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week.
Cambian Group Managing Director (West), Mike Ore, said: "Anti-Bullying will always be a hot topic which requires regular reminders, therefore, to support this national campaign with our various promotional activities to raise awareness is fantastic!
"If we can prevent, stop or give someone the courage to report an incident of bullying, that for me, will be a huge success!"
Using the theme ‘One Kind Word’, The Caretech Group ran a competition for young people and staff, to shine a light on times when someone had shared one kind word with them, that made them feel a million dollars or had in return, shown an act of kindness.
The competition, which saw an amazing amount of entries received, was extremely well received and resulted in two By the Bridge winners across the staff and young people's category.

In the run up to ‘Anti-Bullying Week’ and during the 5-day campaign, Cambian Group also sent out daily communication and useful resources to share some fantastic activities, information and workshops to continue to raise awareness and prevent bullying.
